Shampoo and conditioner question?

My hair is relaxed. My shampoo is a moisturizer( ors shampoo organic root stimulator) The conditioner I use is mixed with moisture and protein.(ors conditioner)......I wash my hair once a week. is it ok that I use the same conditioner once a week with my shampoo since it has protein in it? or do i suppose to use a conditioner with no protein every other week?
