Is this fair to do to my friend, and should we talk to her about it?

It's wrong of you to make her go solo on something like thus but then again she should respect your decision. If you don't want her to get blazed at the fair with you guys around then that's a totally fair DES idiom even if it is wrong. Also the one of you who knows her the best should tell her not to.
